The new series “America’s Next Top Rapper” that will launch sometime in winter 2011 already has a judge. The one and only, Lil’ Kim will be looking for America’s next top rapper. It will be the first televised hip hop reality show competition to be broadcast pretty much everywhere, online, TV, mobile apps and even digital video player Roku.
To enter the competition a participant will have to pay $200. But the winning prize for the show, $20,000, is surprisingly low especially if you compare it to other shows like American Idol, X-Factor and others. However, in addition to $20,000, winner will also get:
- Distribution deal from Universal Music
– Video Shoot from director Little X
– Single produced by Rockwilder
– Feature with Lil’ Kim
– A booking agent, a publicist and a national tour.
That’s not bad after all. Basically you get the whole package. The question is: do you think Lil’ Kim will be a good fit for a job?
