Preview: VH1 New Reality Show – ‘Hollywood Exes’

We already told you about VH1 launching new show “Hollywood Exes” back in March (Refresh Your Memories HERE).
The show will be premiering on June 27th at 9 PM and follow lives of Nicole Murphy (ex wife of Eddie Murphy – 13 years), Jessica Canseco (ex wife of Jose Canseco – 4 years), Sheree Fletcher,/FONT> (ex wife of Will Smith – 3 years), Mayte Garcia (ex wife of Prince – 3 years), and Andrea Kelly (ex wife of R. Kelly – 12 years).
Not sure how entertaining the show will be, but I really hope it will focus on positive images only.

Miguel Warns You To Stay Out Of His ‘F-cking Lane’ Or He Will ‘F-ck You Up’

Miguel recently sat down with Mina Saywhat from Power 99′s Rise & Grind Morning Show. Besides talking about new album he is currently working on, Prince influence and all that, Miguel had a message for everyone who is trying to imitate him. Read the highlight below and listen to the full interview.

On new album:
“It’s definitely a progressive album. I would describe it as being progressive in the sense that I’m taking a lot of my more alternative influences and incorporating them. Adorn is a great Segue because its very soulful, in the way that I wrote it. In the way that I wrote it to be very simple and very to the point, but still have some alternative elements and I think that’s what makes it really cool. The people that love R&B music, there’s something relatable there, but then for the people who are a bit more progressive and have a bit more electronic ear and a taste for electronic music I think there’re some elements in there for them to enjoy too. It’s a very honest representation for where I’m at. I think it’s just a Segue. As the singles progress, you’ll see we’re getting deeper into what the album is going to sound like.”

Toni Braxton And Son Diesel Visit Wendy Williams Show

Toni Braxton was a guest at Wendy Williams show today and she brought along her son Diesel. During the chat with Wendy, Toni cleared up rumors about leaving “Braxton Family Values” in a third season, her relationship with Eddie Murphy and new album. Since Toni is a United Nations Ambassador for autism, she also addressed autism and issues that parents have to deal with when they find out their kids are autistic (Toni’s son Diesel is autistic). On whether she will leave “BFV”:
“Well, we are contemplating. It’s so demanding. I love the show, I love being with my sisters and I have an album coming out and I wanna promote it.  We are downsizing, I won’t be completely gone.”

On her new album:
“I’m listening to Prince. He said, ‘Toni, you should do it yourself. Record companies are great, but the new movement is Internet and put it out all digital and you don’t really need them for that,’ so wish me luck. I’m going out on a limb.”

VH1 Launches New Reality Show “Hollywood Exes”

VH1 is puttin the exes of some of the world’s biggest stars’ exes together for their new reality show “Hollywood Exes.” The cast will include Nicole Murphy (ex wife of Eddie Murphy – 13 years), Jessica Canseco (ex wife of Jose Canseco – 4 years), Sheree Fletcher (ex wife of Will Smith – 3 years), Mayte Garcia (ex wife of Prince – 3 years), and Andrea Kelly (ex wife of R. Kelly – 12 years).

“These extraordinarily strong women adjusted to and endured a lot while their ex-spouses won fame and fortune defining pop culture for that moment,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Production, VH1. “Now these women must re-invent themselves again, stepping out of the long shadows cast by their famous husbands and supporting each other as they define the next stage of their lives – this time on their own terms.”

The show is set to premiere in summer 2012. To me it’s just another version of “Basketball Wives.” Are you interested?
