Aretha Franklin celebrated the big 70 last night at the Helmsley Park Lane Hotel in NYC last night. On top of the birthday she also celebrated the new record deal.
“I have re-signed with Clive Davis, so I’m recording with Clive again. She added, “We’re going to sit together and decide what it is we’re going to record.”
Her long-time boyfriend was at the party too, btw. So they are still going strong.
