Common release a new single “Sweet” off his upcoming album “The Dreamer,The Believer.” Not very modest Common boasts about being “the greatest” and “the A-list.” The video for the single was shot recently in Haiti and will be ready for release soon. Common graces the cover of a new issue of Rolling Out Magazine. Rapper/Actor and now Author of memoir “One Day It’ll All Make Sense,” opens up about his new book, his experience and career and his mother not approving his rap ambitions at first. On being fearless:
“To a certain extent, a lot of [things in the book] are things that happened in my life. I’m not ashamed of the things that have happened in my life. I’m not ashamed that I was scared at one point. I’m not ashamed that I was heartbroken at one point. I’m not ashamed that I was fighting at one point, because those are the things that I went through and experienced, and that’s what life is about. You gotta go through those experiences.”
On his mother not liking his decision to be a rapper:
