Diddy Becomes An Ambassador For WWE Anti-Bullying Campaign

Diddy-WWE-Anti-BullyingDiddy joined his forces with WWE new campaign against bullying. The campaign, called “Be a STAR” was created by WWE and The Creative Coalition in order to stand up against bullying and encourage young kids to treat each other with respect.

“I’m thrilled to extend my partnership with WWE,” said Diddy in a statement.” And align myself with their Be a STAR, anti-bullying initiative. Bullying is a very serious issue and needs to stop now.”

Lauryn Hill Sentenced To Three Months In Prison

Lauryn-HillLauryn Hill was sentenced to 3 months in Federal Prison for tax evasion during a hearing earlier today. Earlier we reported, that the judge ordered Lauryn to pay $554,000 before May 3rd.
Well, Lauryn managed to pay more than $970,000 in total out of what she owed to the government in back taxes.
However, the judge found that neither the fact that Lauryn paid nor her 6 kids that she is raising was good enough reason to keep her out of prison.

NBA’s Jason Collins Becomes First Active Openly Gay Male Athlete

Collins played with the NBA Boston’s Celtics this season until he moved to Washington Wizards. His decision to publicly come out after so many years didn’t come easy. It took a long time and a lot of self-searching, until Collins decided to stop hiding who he truly was.  And today he is the first active openly gay male athlete in history.

Lauryn Hill Is Given Two Weeks To Pay Off Her Tax Debt Before Sentencing

Lauryn-Hill-CourtAs you probably know, Lauryn Hill was under the fire for failing to pay $1.8 million in taxes from 2005 to 2007. Since last year, was trying to strike a deal with the court to pay off a restitution for what she owed and last summer she was ordered to pay $554,000. However, the singer only payed $50,000 since then and US Magistrate Judge, Madeline Cox was very unhappy with it during the court hearing yesterday.

“This is not someone who stands before the court penniless,”the Judge scolded Lauryn. “This is a criminal matter. Actions speak louder than words, and there has been no effort here to pay these taxes.”
