TMZ reported earlier that Nelly was detained in Texas last night, as police officers searched his tour bus. And guess what they found: heroine, lots of weed and a loaded gun.
Apparently the bust was stopped at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca when police canine detected drugs. The bus then was raided and “36 small baggies of heroin and over TEN POUNDS of marijuana inside a large green duffel bag (an amount roughly the size of a large bed pillow)..and a loaded .45 caliber pistol” were found on a bus.
All seven people who were riding the bus, including Nelly, were detained.
HOWEVER, one of them, Brian Keith Jones, confessed that the drugs and weapon was his. So he was arrested and Nelly with other 5 people were let go.
I really got nothing to add to that story… what you think?

UPDATE:
Nelly released a statement since then, saying the following:

“It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning.
Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board. Law enforcement officials did not press charges against anyone other than that individual.”
