Evelyn Lozada Releases First Official Statement Since The Fight With Chad

Well, earlier today, Evelyn Lozada made an official statement regarding the incident with Chad that resulted in 3 gash in Ev’s forehead.

“It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday. I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I’m grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.”

On top of all the misfortunes, Chad was also dropped from HBO’s Hard Knocks show and VH 1 cancelled “Ev&Ocho” reality show that was supposed to air this Fall, saying:

“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”

Moreover, new information surfaced of Chad’s history of domestic violence. As TMZ reports, the former NFL player was secretly found guilty of battering a woman back in 2000. The victim was his girlfriend at the time and police record say that Chad slapped her in the face and accused her of cheating on him. The court found him guilty and he avoided jail time by completed 30 days of graffiti removal work with CalTrans.
Chad is expected back in court soon to to enter his plea. He still insists he did nothing wrong.
