The Olympic Games is a hard place to stay loyal, as athletes compete for the championship in the day time and have lots of fun celebrating after. No wonder that rumors also fly around like the bullets and the latest one is Kobe Bryant’s supposedly having an affair with Australian Swimmer and Olympic gold medalist, Stephanie Rice.
The two snapped few pictures together and swapped autographed souvenirs with each other. Kobe gave Stephanie a pair of sneakers and she gave him a swimming cap in return. People started talking, as usual.
But Stephanie cleared all the rumors earlier today when she addressed it on Twitter:

“FYI yes Kobe and I are friends, but no we are not together and never have been. Can’t guys and girls be just friends? He’s an amazing athlete and I’ve enjoyed getting to know him and many other great athletes in my Olympic journey.”
