Lauryn Hill Pleads Guilty To Tax Evasion And May Face 3 Years In Prison
We already reported that Lauryn Hill was facing tax problems as she failed to pay taxes from 2005 to 2007 and now owes $1.6 million dollars in back taxes.
She had her first hearing with a federal court yesterday, where plead guilty to the tax evasion charges.
“Hill spoke little at her hearing today and stood attentively with her arms crossed in front of her chest when the judge first addressed her,” reports NJ News. “She appeared in a white button-down shirt, blue blazer and long coral skirt.
