So the news is Tyra Banks decided not to renew the contracts of Nigel Barker, J.Alexander and Jay Manuel for the next season of America’s Next Top Model. All three judges were with Tyra from the beginning of the show back in 2003 and the news of them pretty much getting fired was a surprise.
Tyra confirmed the news on her Facebook page, saying:
“To my Nigel Barker, Miss J, and Mr Jay: Thank you for all of our years together on America’s Next Top Model. Working with you is always an absolute pleasure. Excited for what the future holds for us.”
And Nigel Barker addressed it on his blog:
“I will miss the cast, the crew and ANTM will always have a special place in my heart, having made life-long friendships with countless fond memories.”
Although there is no word on who the new judges are gonna be, but the whole thing sounds a little weird. One day you have a job and then the next day it’s gone. Your thoughts?
