Even we were predicting at least 10 to 12 months for this marriage, but 72 days?!?! It’s official, as TMZ reports, Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce today citing “irreconcilable differences.” Kim also wants Kris to pay his own lawyer’s fees and she will pay hers, as well as demanding the court to reject any move by Kris to get spousal support.
Sources say that one of the main reason of a deal-breaker was where the couple would be living when the whole wedding hoopla would die down. Kris wanted to settle down in Minnesota, but Kim forgot to mention that she wasn’t feeling that.
Kim also released an official statement:
“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
But here comes the interesting part, Kris had no idea that his wife was filing for divorce until this morning. And surprisingly, he is not ready to give up.
“I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce … I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”
Really? That’s foul.. how do you remain friends when you don’t even tell your husband you are filing for divorce..just saying.
