And once again Serena Williams lost her temper during the match when the umpire, Eva Asderaki took away a point from Serena for code violation. During the intense game, Serena yelled “come on” when she was serving and since it could potentially lead to opponent’s distraction, Serena lost a point for that. Well, you can’t do things like these to Serena, she won’t be quite about it. She furiously went off on umpire, saying:
“I’m not giving her that game. If anything, we need a replay. Aren’t you the one that screwed me over last time here? Yeah you are. Seriously, you have it out for me? I promise you, that’s not cool… I truly depise you. If you ever see me walking down the hall, look the other way because you’re out of control. You’re a hater and you’re just unattractive inside… Can I get a water? Or am I going to get violated for a water? Really, don’t even look at me. I promise you don’t even look at me because I am not… Don’t look my way.”
Now Serena facing a sanction since she refused to apologize to umpire and during the post-game press conference noted that she didn’t remember what she said at the court, since it was a very intense moment and she zoned out. Check the videos of the incident and press conference inside.
