Guess Who’s Going To Play Raekwon’s Dad In The Upcoming Biopic?

Yes, one and only, Lady Killer, The Soul Machine – Cee Lo Green. A multifaceted artist confirmed in the tweets last night that he’s going to play Raekwon’s dad in the upcoming biopic, tentatively-titled C.R.E.A.M.

In the meantime Raekwon mentioned the script for the film was finished and the cast was almost 60% completed. On why he chose Cee Lo for the role of his dad, Wu-Tang Clan member says,“[He's] a good friend of mine. When I called him and told him about it he was just overwhelmed. He’s just one out of the greats that’s gonna be on the project.” No details on when the films is planned to be released and other cast choices. Continue reading →

RIP: “Police Academy” Star Found Dead

Remember Moses Hightower, a character that everybody and their mama just loved? Charles “Bubba” Smith, “Police Academy” and former NFL star was found dead at the age of 66 years old at his house in Los Angeles. So far there are no details on the cause of death, but LA County Coroner, at this point, thinks that death was of natural causes. Our condolences to family and friends. Rest In Peace.

What Rocawear Has In Common With Billionaire Boys Club?

Well according to GQ, Jay-z’s fashion house, Rocaware, bought the license to manufacture and distribute Pharrell Williams’ Billionaire Boys Club.Later that day Jay-z, however, corrected the news by saying that Rocawear does not own BBC, but just partnering with it, in order to utilize Pharrell’s creativity and Jay’s business expertise. Pharrell is no doubt has a very interesting eye when it comes to art, so we’ll see what’s going to come out of this.

Interview Magazine: Waka Flocka Interviews Tyler The Creator

A 20-year-old, Odd Future primary attention-getter, ringleader and troublemaker, Tyler, The Creator answered few questions in his chat with Waka Flocka for the Interview Magazine. Waka Flocka raised some interesting and got even more interesting answers from Tyler,The Creator. Check out the excerpt from the interview:

 Flocka: So firstly, what do y’all think is so odd about the future?
 Tyler:  What’s odd about the future? I think we’re all gonna die pretty soon, and the animals are gonna take over—like ostriches and shit. I think they’re gonna take over the world and we’re gonna be their slaves.
 Flocka: I’m asking, though, because your crew is called Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. So where does that name come from?
 Tyler: Well, we were at a skate park on just a regular skate day, and this dragon just came out of nowhere and tried to attack me, so we killed the dragon. That’s how we got the name. Continue reading →
